About Us

The Animal Pantry is a small business located in Worcestershire. The Animals you will meet here are all loved by us and very much part of the family.

Here at the animal pantry, we aim to enhance the quality of life of the whole person by using our beloved animals to engage in therapeutic activities. We pride ourselves on the friendliness of our staff and our ability to offer hands-on experiences for all abilities.

We know how much animals can bring joy and also have a therapeutic effect on a person, which is one of the most important reasons we decided to open our business.

My story. (From Beth) Animals are my life, they kept me going when nothing else did. I couldn’t cope with mainstream school and got taken out of school and attended an alternative provision with additional support, I am autistic and have always struggled with my mental health. Animals bring me a sense of purpose, happiness and calm and helped me so much through my childhood and teenage years. During lockdown, my mom Carol & I had so much interest from SEND parents about offering visits with our animals that we decided to take a leap and go for it. Once we had obtained the necessary licenses we began working alongside SEN groups & families. We now enjoy sharing our beloved animals with people of all ages and abilities and seeing the joy and calm it brings them is what makes it all worthwhile!”

Since opening our business we have grown and have been able to offer more experiences and activities to you our customers, this has only been able to be achieved by the support of our customers and our wonderful staff and volunteers, without which our business wouldn’t exist so thank you to each and every one of you that has made this possible.
